PCR/Lemay is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Diesel Mechanic in Frederickson, WA, to support our heavy‑duty truck and trailer maintenance teams. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, CDL premium, swing‑shift differential, and a $5,000 stay‑on bonus.Compensation & BenefitsHourly Rate: $35.00 – $36.00/hourCDL Premium: Additional $1.00/hour for Class A or B CDL holdersShift Differential: +$1.50/hour for swing shiftStay‑On Bonus: $5,000Benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan (401k) with employer matchPaid time off, paid sick leave, and holidaysOngoing training and professional developmentOther compensation: overtime pay, tool allowance, and employee recognition programsSchedule & OvertimeShift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMOvertime: Average 8–10 hours/week; paid at 1.5×Shift: Swing shift with differential appliedKey ResponsibilitiesConduct scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks/trailersDiagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systemsUse diagnostic tools and software (Cummins Insite, Davie‑4, Allison DOC)Perform DOT and OSHA‑compliant safety inspectionsExecute MIG welding and basic fabrication tasksTest drive vehicles to confirm repair quality/performanceRecord repairs, parts, and hours using fleet maintenance softwareReview and act on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)Ensure a clean, organized, and safe shop environmentCommunicate repairs and issues effectively with drivers and supervisorsApply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenanceRequired QualificationsMinimum of 3 years heavy truck/diesel mechanic experienceIntermediate proficiency with diagnostic tools and softwareValid Driver’s License; Class B CDL preferred (or obtain within 90 days)Welding experience (MIG) preferredSolid understanding of DOT, OSHA, and vehicle safety standardsAbility to read and apply service and technical documentationMust be able to work independently and collaboratively in a teamOwn basic mechanic tool setSAFETY SENSITIVE: YESTo be considered for any of our current openings, you must complete an application at .
