Firefighter 1 and 2 required Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Level certificationsNational Registry or State of Indiana Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certificationOut of state certifications must be transferable to Indiana and must be completed within 90 days of hireMust be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and local certification requirements for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) level certification.With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
