If you have a record of success in prospect research supporting major gift efforts, strong CRM database experience, and are looking for your next career move, apply now.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Salesforce NPS Database Coordinator to manage donor data, coordinate gift processes, ensure effective donor engagement, and collaborate across departments to support fundraising goals and improve operational efficiency. This position will be full-time, contract to hire with our client and onsite, with employees expected to work onsite in Evanston, Illinois 5-days per week. Core business hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm (35-hour work week).Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.What You’ll Do Maintain and manage central donor database using Salesforce, including all aspects of donor information, research, queries, and production of reportsPlan, manage, and implement processes to effectively accept, receive, and acknowledge gifts/donations, working in conjunction with the Finance department to ensure proper accounting and reportingPlan, manage, and coordinate pledge fulfillment implementation working as the liaison between the Corporation’s Scholar and Donor Services department and the Finance departmentPlan, coordinate, and manage donor recognition programs and activities designated to increase awareness and support corporate goals and objectivesCoordinate with the Scholar and Donor Services leadership team and the Finance department to implement, update, and maintain the Corporation’s Gift Acceptance PoliciesMaintain accurate records in the constituent database regarding all acknowledgement and recognition programsCreate, send, and track acknowledgment/thank you letters, ensure pledge reminders are sent according to donor’s wishes, and coordinate end of year tax documents with the Finance departmentCreate and distribute detailed summary pledge reports on a monthly basis for the fundraising campaign leadership teamWork closely with management to track and improve donor communicationsCoordinate with internal staff regarding the management of the Salesforce database including Scholar events, internal and external awards, and recognitions, career updates, etc.Ensure major donors are included in appropriate events and are recognized for their service, participation, and generosityCollaborate with vendors, internal staff, and others as neededIn consultation with internal staff, plan, manage, and implement policies and procedures related to the use of the Scholar and Donor database, electronic and paper files, as well as any other donor dataCoordinate the assignment of prospective donors to internal staff, Fundraising Campaign Committee, Board of Directors, and other campaign volunteersInform fundraising campaign leadership of important milestones and information regarding major donors (i.e., birthdays, anniversaries, special accomplishments, etc.) in connection with cultivation and gift/donation solicitation activityEngage in prospect research activitiesCollaborate with Information Technology (IT) department on matters related to database security, system updates, and data related IT needsWork directly with other internal departments to enhance prospecting effortsExtensive use of a customized database in addition to standard PC applicationsRecommend and help implement procedural improvements/efficienciesPerform general administrative duties, including data input, correspondence, proofing documents, etc.Various other duties as assigned by the Scholar and Donor Services leadership team, corporate officers, and upper management of the corporationWhat You'll NeedRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar discipline; advanced degrees/certifications preferredStrong database experience including building custom reports ensuring accurate high-quality dataA demonstrated record of success in prospect research supporting major gift efforts in asking for and closing major donations for not-for-profitsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project management and organizational skillsFamiliarity with philanthropic and fundraising best practicesMust be a collaborative team player who enjoys working with othersThorough knowledge and experience working with Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat requiredExperience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce or another well-known not-for-profit industry constituent databasePhysical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor#LI-NA1Reasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$30-$34 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
