In this role, you will facilitate the transfer of information on new products and changes to existing products between engineering to manufacturing. This will support our Panels, Detectors and notifications appliances for the Fire Detection business at Johnson Controls. Candidates must be commuting distance to Westford, MA, or able to relocate.How you will do itManage the transfer of information between the engineering team and the factoryWork between Manufacturing, Engineering and customer expectations on product changes and new product introductionsTrack and ensure proper implementation of all NPI and changes – close the loop.Partner with manufacturing and engineering to find solutions to minimize issues in NPI and product changes.Work with senior leadership to set manufacturing priorities and costs associated with for NPI and changesCapital EquipmentScrapDepreciationWhat we look forRequiredBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years’ experience integrating products into manufacturingExpertise in a Product Lifecycle management tool and Manufacturing Material Resource Planning tool or Enterprise Resource Planning ToolAbility to plan and estimate small projectsAble to travel (PreferredExperience in ICT or FCT developmentProject ManagementExperience working directly with contract manufacturers, especially for PCBAsExperience working directly with Fabrication houses (metal, plastic, etc..)Experience in managing Engineer Change Notices / Factory Change NoticesHIRING SALARY RANGE: $91,000 - $114,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
