Job Description As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrols in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and providing outstanding customer service. This is an armed position, and you will play a key role in supporting a welcoming and secure environment with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, while maintaining a professional presence. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols and guidelines specific to a healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access. Monitor access points and control entry and exit of individuals to help to deter prohibited items or persons from entering restricted areas. Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including supporting evacuation procedures and/or coordinating with first responders. Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client site protocols. Interact with staff, patients, and visitors in a courteous manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed within the healthcare setting.Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations. Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
