Driven by culinary excellence. Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef 2 to lead culinary operations at Clara Maass Medical Center, a 450-bed acute care hospital located in Belleville, NJ. This is a highly visible leadership role within a fast-paced healthcare environment, ideal for a culinary professional passionate about patient care, retail excellence, and high-end catering.  SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges. What You'll Do: Lead and manage a team of 20 union client staff across patient dining, retail, and catering servicesOversee all food production processes, ensuring quality, safety, and complianceCollaborate with the Operations Manager to drive culinary innovation and operational efficiencySupport special events and catering functions, occasionally requiring evening or weekend availabilityMaintain a strong presence in the kitchen and on the floor to ensure service excellence What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
