The selected candidates will assist in building, inspecting, and measuring prototype and sample products for customer evaluation. This position plays a key role in ensuring our products meet engineering and quality expectations during early development and process validation phases. This is a full-time, contract and onsite in Middleton, PA. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm est. What You'll DoSupport manufacturing and process development engineers with the assembly, operation, and inspection of prototype samples and customer buildsPerform detailed work under a microscope, ensuring precision and consistency in assembly and inspection tasksInterpret and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications with accuracyUtilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, OGP systems, and optical comparators to verify product conformitySupport the engineering team with sample production, troubleshooting, and applicator development projectsMeasure and evaluate samples and other key features to validate design and process qualityCollaborate closely with engineers and technicians to identify, communicate, and resolve issues observed during assembly or inspectionUse basic hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned workWork cooperatively in a manufacturing lab setting, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspaceWhat You'll NeedRequired:High school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical or vocational training in manufacturing, machining, or engineering technology.1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, prototype, or precision assembly environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive, high-precision tasksProficient with hand toolsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, reporting, and data entryExcellent teamwork skills in a collaborative lab settingAbility to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records, and flag inconsistencies or issues for engineering review Physical Demands Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands for fine motor tasks such as handling or feeling objects, reach with arms and hands, and communicate effectively through speech and hearingThe role also requires the ability to handle small components under a microscope for prolonged durationsRegular physical demands include lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 poundsSafety shoes are requiredReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$24.00 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above.
