Specific Responsibilities: 4) Perform required service and maintenance on fire extinguishers, including recharging, testing, completing six- and twelve-year maintenance work 5) Accurately complete required reports and paperwork, inspection tags, etc. required for        extinguisher service and maintenance records 6) Perform routine/preventative maintenance on extinguisher shop test equipment 7) Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while at work 8)Complete required employment paperwork in a timely and professional manner (e.g., timecard) 9) Participate in periodic Johnson Controls business meetings and contribute to the growth and sustainability of Johnson Controls 10) Ability to operate hand tools and lift/carry 50lbs. 10) Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Position Requirements to ensure continued personal and professional growth within Johnson Controls Fire Protection. 12) Effective written and verbal communication skills13) Repetitive motions including lifting, sliding and general production of fire extinguishers14) utilize all minimum PPE required by Johnson Controls and specialized PPE as required for specific working situations. QualificationsPrevious experience not required.Ability to operate hand tools and lift and carry 50lbs.Ability to pass required licensing test (on job training provided)Effective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to pass a drug test, background check, and BMV check.High school diploma or equivalentMust have a clean driving record.Driver's License (Required)Repetitive motions including lifting, sliding and general production of fire extinguishers.HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $18.00-$19.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
