Clinical Social Worker, MSW, Boston Primary Care

Position Summary/Department Summary:This 40-hour social work position will provide a full range of clinical social work for patients and families who receive care in the primary care practice at Children’s Hospital Boston. Social workers are highly valued members of interdisciplinary care team providing support around psychosocial issues, health related social needs and behavioral health.Key Responsibilities:Providing psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community servicesActing as a resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teamsMinimum QualificationsEducation:Master’s degree in social work.Experience:Social work experience in a medical environment highly preferredFlexibility and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPersons of diversity strongly encouraged to applyLicensure/Certifications:LCSW in the state of MA required, LICSW licensure in the state of MA is preferredSchedule is 9:00am-5:30pm, with potential for one evening shift/week until 8PM.Eligible for a hybrid schedule once fully trainedThis position is eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonusBoston Children’s Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits, including affordable health, vision and dental insurance, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes (50% off).
