Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and quality assurance industry, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Instrumentation and Calibration Tech, you will be part of the Metrology Department supporting calibration and equipment maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Calibration Technician Location: Durham Pay Range:$33 What's the Job? Calibrate, install, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment used to control and measure variables such as pressure, temperature, dimensional, mass, and motion. Work with safety as a primary focus, adhering to all safety procedures and practices. Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System relevant to this position. Develop and maintain test procedures to verify instrument measurement performance. Enter data into CMMS databases, review calibration documentation, and create calibration certificates/work plans. What's Needed? Associate Degree in engineering or engineering technology (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 2 years of experience working in a GMP/GDP facility such as pharmaceutical, medical device, nuclear, or food industries. Ability to read and understand equipment drawings and electrical schematics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
