Our team values precision, communication, and continual learning in a supportive environment.How you'll contributeA Staff Accountant II, Balance Sheet Management who excels in this role:Manages the monthly balance sheet account reconciliation process for multiple entities across the organization.Reviews account activity, identifies reconciliation variances, and ensures timely resolution.Investigates and explains variances to ensure the accuracy of financial data.Supports quarterly reviews and annual audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.Collaborates closely with Site Liaisons, site CFOs, and the LBS Technical Accounting team to ensure account balances are supported and properly documented.Assists in researching and applying new accounting standards and evaluating their potential impact.Performs balance sheet account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Observes internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned to support the HSC Accounting department.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent care and service. Additional qualifications include:Understanding of GAAP principles and internal control processes.Experience performing account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.Strong Excel skills, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Oracle and reporting tools (OTBI, FDI, EPM) preferred.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.EEOC StatementLifepoint Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
