If you have strong experience in business and data analytics, business data schema reviews, and experience across the application development lifecycle, and are looking for your next career move, apply now.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Technical Business Analyst/Data Analyst to partner with the business and other product teams to understand their business models in order to help formulate future strategies and develop requirements for new and enhanced functionality within our core dining systems. This position will be a contract role and onsite in Miramar, FL, with a strong possibility for global travel during implementation phases to support business teams and users (less than 20%).Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.What You’ll DoPlan interviews and facilitate requirements gathering, process analysis, and application design sessions with project stakeholders, including internal IT partners and business partnersEvaluate COTs products to identify the best possible fit based on stakeholder requirementsCreate business cases to request funding for new initiativesLead project teams in connecting the vision of dining product features to the dining product backlogManage the prioritization of user storiesWork with various technology teams to determine estimates on resources and timing to meet business needs and communicate it to the businessGather/create detailed business requirements and scope documents, and translate them into detailed functional specificationsCreate and manage project deliverables for small to medium-sized projects (2-4 resources). Log, track, and verify resolution for all project tasks to ensure business and technical scope is controlled to meet quality, timeline, and budget expectationsAssist business partners in resolving IT issues and facilitate collaboration with other IT teamsProvide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports, and documentation to IT and business partnersWhat You'll NeedRequired:Proven experience in conducting business data schema reviews to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational objectivesStrong knowledge and practical experience in data analytics, engineering, and management to support business strategiesAbility to analyze and interpret data flow diagrams effectively to identify process improvementsDemonstrated experience in performing business process reviews to optimize workflows and enhance system capabilitiesExpertise in creating detailed business cases and use cases to drive project goals and support decision-makingExperience in all phases of the application development life cycle, specifically in Business Analyst skills and Quality Assurance Testing skillsProven experience in Agile methodology, including maintaining a backlog of well-defined user stories (with dependencies & acceptance criteria)Ability to clearly develop and articulate business requirements and translate into functional specifications (and vice versa)Advanced proficiency in PC tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Visio, and other project planning tools to effectively manage and execute project deliverablesAbility to work both on-site and abroad as requiredComfortable traveling to various locations for system installations and upgradesFlexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed for project completionsPreferred:Knowledge of Python programming languageExperience in a similar role within the maritimeKnowledge of cyber and physical security protocols and standards related to access control systemsCertification in relevant technologies or systems (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Access Control Specialist)Physical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor#LI-AL2Reasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$37-$41 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
