Time Type:Full timeRemote Type:Job Family Group:Market OperationsJob Description Summary: This position performs basic and complicated maintenance functions as well as preventative maintenance and routine repairs on our delivery truck fleet.Job Description:Schedule:Monday - Thursday - 4 day work week with OT potential2 PM - 12:30 AMJob Responsibilities:To perform truck repair and maintenance functionsMaintain the fleet with preventative maintenance and routine repairSome repair may happen in the field or on the street away from the office.Ability to perform and/or service other class 3-8 truck equipment and general maintenance functions such as troubleshooting, lubricating, adjustments, replace and repairing parts as neededIntermediate understanding of electrical systems, computer-controlled engine diagnostics, and basic related controls.Maintain cost in department (parts, cleaning supplies, etc.).Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or its equivalentMinimum of 2 years' experience in RELATED FIELD or equivalent educationBasic PC skills using MS OfficeMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Class B CDLElectric lift truck experienceBasic set of mechanics' hand and air-operated power toolsPhysical Requirements:Frequent walking and standingFrequent lifting up to 20 poundsFrequent kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, climbingOccasional crawling, reachingOccasional carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds to perform various duties as assignedOccasional pushing and pulling up to 10 - 20 poundsCompetencies:Accountable for results which impact the department.Selects best option from a set of defined procedures/ solutions using common sense and experience of similar situations.This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
