Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. • Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission). • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • 6 months between Staff at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Chest tubes Tubes Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients Trachs/Laryngectomies Telemetry Complex wounds Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws Unit/Facility Details: Adult surgical unit that cares for primarily orthopedic and trauma patients as well as other specialties such as plastics, general surgery. A very busy unit where mobilizing and rehabilitating patients is the main goal. Inpatient Surgical Unit. Shift & Scheduling: 12/22 or 1/5 start.
