RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate the kitchen with attention to food quality, taste, and presentationDevelop new menu itemsCarry out administrative functions, including forecasting, payroll, scheduling, recruiting, training, supervising, and disciplineDirect, motivate, and train kitchen personnelEnsure proper maintenance of operations, equipment, and facilityMaintain safe and sanitary working conditions in accordance with health codesOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the culinary industry requiredMust possess the knowledge and skills to create incredible tasting dishes, focusing on food trends and fresh produceBe familiar with international, domestic, and special diet cuisine preparationMust possess a current Utah State food handler's permit and/or a Serve Safe CertificateAble to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. and withstand frequent up and down/twisting/repetitive movementsDATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Year RoundPAY RATE: Pay: $26.00 per hourDeer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
