Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 10 months of Intensive Care Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Skills: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, GI surgery, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, IV insulin protocols. Preferred Skills/Experience: High acuity ICU experience. Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Chemotherapy Administration, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only. Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: Free Parking.
