We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Corporate Actions team. This role location in New York, NY (4 days in office per week). In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Manage a medium to large Corporate Actions team responsible for providing corporate action-related custody and accounting processing. Monitor the workload of the team to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and in compliance with department procedures. Review daily control reports and approve the work product and operational output of staff to ensure accuracy on corporate actions activity. Coordinate with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, depositories, agents, and brokers to ensure daily work meets organizational standards. Provide training for new team members and cross-training of all team members. Ensure adequate staffing allocation, performance, and personnel management of the team. Develop policies and procedures and manage written supervisory procedures. Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and team effectiveness. Manage team goals, human resources including coaching, performance management, and career development. May manage financial resources of the team such as budgets and expenses. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 0-1 years in management preferred. Experience in financial services or corporate actions preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.  This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
