This role supports the integration of advanced AI/ML algorithms into legacy nuclear monitoring systems, contributing to national security through real-time geophysical data processing.Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and integrate AI/ML algorithms into mission-critical software systemsBuild and curate datasets for training, tuning, and testing modelsEvaluate algorithm performance in real-time geophysical environmentsCollaborate with government and contractor teams across software and geophysical domainsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience, training, or certifications may substitute for degreeU.S. citizen; Currently possessing an Active DoD Secret clearance and eligibility for Top Secret/SCIProficiency in Python and shell scripting in Linux/Unix environmentsStrong analytical, scientific, and problem-solving skillsExperience building datasets and evaluating AI/ML model performancePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of digital signal processing, time-series analysis, Fourier/spectral analysis, and seismic event classificationExperience with seismic or geophysical data processingFamiliarity with deep learning, neural networks, classification, and ensemble methodsExperience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle/SQL)Exposure to Flask, C/C++, and version control tools (e.g., Git, ClearCase)Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, Geophysics, or related field and/or 4+ years of experienceReady to make an impact?
