The posting may close early due to the volume of applicants.Team Overview: The High Net Worth (HNW) Business Development supports advisors in attracting, retaining, and deepening client relationships by helping deploy the firm's products, services and capabilities to meet complex client and prospect needs. The team partners with Financial Advisors and collaborates across Edward Jones home office teams and external 3rd party relationships to deliver a wide range of personalized solutions spanning financial planning, portfolio strategy, trust and estate planning, and other complex and comprehensive wealth management strategies. The team owns the high-net-worth intake and pipeline management process and reporting with key stakeholders, and supports growth initiatives including acumen build and market activation strategies in partnership with other firm resources. What You Will Do: The HNW Client Acquisition Strategist will be responsible for the execution of key High Net Worth client acquisition and development strategies, supporting advisors with direct client engagement focused on winning new business through the representation of extensive resources of our HNW offerings, products & services. This position will serve as the representative of the firm's HNW offering to financial advisors, clients, and prospective clients. They will partner with advisors to engage clients and prospect opportunities and help develop tailored prospecting strategies to position the advisor to win new business. They will directly drive and support the sales process with potential opportunities. Responsibilities include: This role's primary responsibility will be to assist Financial Advisors in attracting, retaining, and deepening client relationships, and providing education on HNW strategies driven by the client's unique situation.This role will be called upon as a subject matter expert, with extensive knowledge in financial planning, trust and estate planning, investment management, and will apply knowledge of disciplines to unique client circumstances and work directly with branch teams and their clients.Leverage the extensive resources of our home office, including Private Wealth Consulting and Edward Jones Trust Company, to support our financial advisors in serving their HNW clients with complex needsPlay a critical role in serving as the primary point of contact between financial advisors and the HNW SegmentEducate Advisors on various HNW strategies and partner with them to integrate wealth structuring conceptsWork collaboratively with FAs and firm resources to provide comprehensive and customized wealth structuring strategies to clients and prospective clients.Work closely with Financial Advisors to build relationships with High Net Worth clients and prospects by providing guidance on HNW issues (i.e., estate and tax planning).Where appropriate, cultivate and maintain relationships with COI's in partnership with Financial Advisors, collaborating with clients' attorneys and accountants to represent the partnership of our firm's resources in the clients' estate, income tax and financial plans.Enhance branch and client experience by serving as informal leader to develop other team members to serve as key contributors on enhancements and improvements to process, workflows, and the client experience.Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
