Duties:Patient exam/evaluation – ortho/neuro focused exams, medical history, HPI, review imaging/records/results, physical examOrder/take and review diagnostic and therapeutic imaging (x-ray, fluoroscopy) and lab workDiagnosis and treatment plan formulationPatient education as to treatment options, diagnosis, DME and various modalitiesPerform treatments such as trigger point injections, intra-joint injections, arthrocentesis, SPG blocks, and soft tissue injectionsManage Hormone replacement therapiesRefer for physical therapy as neededReferring Neuropathic pain patients for in office servicesOrder DME- Orthotics/BracingCollaboration with other healthcare providers for comprehensive careOversee MA’s and techsDocumentation- timely and accurateRequirements:Active Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner license in VAMusculoskeletal experienceActive DEA licenseSchedule:Monday - Friday (Friday hours end at 1)Salary: $130k +per year plus bonus compensation Benefits:Vacation/PTO and paid holidaysProfessional advancement and training (trigger point injections, joint injections.
