Role Overview: Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The Pateint Services Manager for this location will manage and develop a team of approximately 40-50 union, front-line staff. The ideal candidate for this role must be well organized and possess strong leadership skills. Previous hands-on healthcare operations experience as an opening and or closing manager would be a plus for this role. What You'll Do: Have oversight of the patient services area, production, and diet officeEnsure excellence in service quality and delivery schedulesWork with the diet office to review and address any patient menu/meal concernDaily patient meal rounding Identify process improvement initiatives and oversee the implementationEmployee training for compliance, safety, sanitation, customer service and HR FunctionsEnsure and drive efforts for Gold Check Standards & HACCP guidelinesWork with the culinary team staff to address any customer complaints or issues relative to food items What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
