You’ll champion data literacy across the organization, mentor junior librarians, and partner with business and technology leaders to ensure our data assets are discoverable, trusted, and aligned with governance standards. Your work will empower partners to make smarter, faster decisions with confidence.As a sr. data librarian, you will…· Lead enterprise metadata strategy and ensure consistent application of taxonomy, ontology, and governance standards across all domains.· Drive adoption of Collibra and data intelligence practices, influencing senior stakeholders and guiding organizational change.· Mentor and coach data librarians and stewards, fostering a culture of data literacy and stewardship.· Represent data librarianship in executive governance forums, shaping policies and standards for data quality and compliance.· Design and implement scalable metadata frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. We’d love to hear from people with:· Collibra or Data Intelligence Platform experience required· Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Data Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).· 7+ years of experience in data management, digital librarianship, or metadata governance (leadership experience preferred).· Expertise in metadata standards (DCMI, ISO 11179) and data cataloging tools.· Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence at all levels. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
