Job DescriptionAs our Web/UX Specialist, you'll drive the ongoing maintenance, strategic updates, and development enhancements that improve engagement across Chamberlain University's websites. This isn't just a content updater role—you'll own website optimizations, build high-impact pages, write technical development tickets, and conduct thorough QA to ensure every digital touchpoint performs flawlessly.You'll be the connector between marketing business owners and technical teams, collaborating cross-functionally with institutional stakeholders who depend on your expertise to bring their vision to life. Technical Development & MaintenanceWorks within an Agile framework (sprints, backlog grooming)Writes technical tickets for features, bugs, and enhancementsConducts QA testing on Drupal components and releasesTranslates Figma designs into functional web implementationsContent & Website ManagementPrimary responsibility for content updates across Chamberlain websitesBuilds pages using Drupal Lightning BuilderEnsures website maintenance and accuracyOptimization & ComplianceIdentifies opportunities for improved usability and ADA complianceLeverages third-party tools for visibility and optimizationFocuses on enhancing website engagement metricsCollaborationWorks with marketing stakeholders on digital initiativesPartners with IT/development teams on testing and documentationCoordinates with external vendors and agenciesKey Skills RequiredNavigate both technical and creative aspects of web developmentCommunicate effectively across multiple departmentsBalance ongoing maintenance with new development projectsStay current with evolving web technologies and best practicesEnsure accessibility standards are met QualificationsBachelors degree.At least 1 year of experience in marketing.Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.Ability and experience adapting to changing priorities based on organizational needs.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.Additional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199.33 and $88,841.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
