The Resource Nurse supports multiple units. The Resource Nurse provides guidance and education on the hospital’s standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.What you will do in this role:Performs rounds on each nursing unitObserves and assesses the quality of patient care being deliveredIdentify nursing educational needsEscalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriateEnsure that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practiceWhat qualifications you will need:Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is requiredBSN required / Master’s Degree is preferred1-year Leadership role is preferred2 years of RN experience in Acute Inpatient, ED and/or ICU in an acute care setting is requiredCurrent BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)BenefitsHCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
