Our client is seeking a Project Finance VP to join their team. As a Project Finance VP, you will be part of the Loan Operations department supporting transaction execution and ongoing management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaborative skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Project Finance VP Location: Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC What's the Job? Lead the day-to-day execution and administration of complex infrastructure project finance transactions, including milestone-based funding and ongoing project monitoring. Review and interpret key project documents, financial models, term sheets, and credit agreements to ensure compliance with covenants, deliverables, and funding triggers. Coordinate with internal teams such as Loan Operations, Credit, Risk, and Portfolio Management to manage deal flow, documentation, approvals, and drawdowns. Prepare and present detailed dashboards, funding status updates, and reports to senior leadership using Excel and PowerPoint. Mentor and train junior team members, sharing expertise on project finance workflows, operational processes, and transaction analysis. What's Needed? Extensive experience in infrastructure project finance, including renewables, energy, transportation, data centers, or utilities. Hands-on experience with milestone-based funding, construction monitoring, and operational project workflows. Proven ability to manage complex transactions and effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders. High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and preparing executive-level presentations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to guide and teach junior team members. What's in it for me?
