Advance your career with us and make a lasting impact on patient care!  About the unit:   Newly constructed 19-bed closed observation unit – focus on the following diagnoses:  Chest pain, Syncope, COPD Astha Exacerbation, Pneumonia, TIA, UTI, AKI, Dizziness & Peripheral Vertigo, ESRD and Missed Dialysis, Cellulitis and Intractable Nausea and Vomiting.  Plan of care focused on discharging patients safely with protocolized care pathways within 24 hours    Increased nurse autonomy in facilitating care plan with support of Charge Nurse and Throughput Nurse  Designated provider team (MDs/ APPs) available with Care Management support     JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the RN provides age-appropriate care. In conjunction with patient assessment performed by licensed professional staff, performs selected advanced procedures. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and accountability in the Critical Care Tech role. Complies with LifeBridge patient safety mission, policies, and procedures.
