Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring a Logistics Engineer for our Zero Trust Integration effort with the US Air Force. This position will be located in Hampton, VA and will be a full-time on-site position. The Logistics Engineer's role involves working with the Delivery Manager to support strategic logistics transactions between multiple parties including Salient CRGT’s Product Teams and logistics teams as well as third party logistics providers. The Delivery Manager will lead logistics analyst team members to optimize delivery of Zero Trust integration efforts in support of Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ/ACC A2). Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining accurate records and keeping audit trails of all material received, shipped or returned for repair, following established supply procedures Coordinate delivery and receipt of program property across the assigned program(s) as a single point of contactPrepare and maintains an organized documentation file necessary to effectively research all transactionsUpdate logistics/material system as necessaryPrepare and submit required reports to managementRequisitions parts/equipment as well as general supplies and equipmentControl and maintain Salient CRGT property in accordance with contract provisions, Directives/Instructions and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Maintains the count integrity of the inventory by using a systematic cycle counting process to count stock items within the warehouse, and work to correct the discrepanciesProcess inbound and outbound equipment accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate Accounting efficiencyPrepare the documentation necessary to effectively control all parts, equipment and accountable materialInspect and monitor the loading/unloading of all equipment and verify counts and lot numbers, notifying the Delivery Manager on receipt and shipment issuesTrains and educates others on property management policies and procedures Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed Qualifications: High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and ExperienceClearance Required:TS/SCIExperience in shipping or inventory control; preferably in an IT environmentHave proven proficiency in data entryAnalytical abilities necessary to read interpret and comply with written and/or oral instructions and regulationsHave the physical ability to lift and handle light to average weight materialPreferred Skills and ExperienceExperience using ServiceNow programExperience with DoD Supply Chain and Defense Courier ServiceExperience with DoD deployment enviornmentExperience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS NetworksExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills Company Overview: GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. Posted Pay RangeThe posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
