Preventative Maintenace Technician

We have an immediate position open for a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to work on our fleet of trucks at in Centralia, WA. Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply. At least one year of experience doing preventative maintenance on diesel trucks is preferred.  This is a safety-sensitive position.Pay and Schedule:Pay will start between $22-30/hrShift is Monday - Friday from 5am-1:30pm Responsibilities Include:Completes required paperwork utilizing the fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documents parts usage, and accounts for repair times.Welding and fabrication on trailers and 48 feet containersAbility to effectively communicate and understand service schedules and/or repairsGeneral shop maintenance/cleaning duties as neededEquipment safety checksCommunicate with drivers for issues in the morning and afternoonReviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection ReportMaintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicles, including yellow iron.Qualified candidates must have:Experience in commercial or similar repair field is preferred but not requiredWillingness to learn new skills and a positive attitudeDriver’s license and ability to drive for road call repairsBasic tool set and toolboxBasic computer skills and ability to learn test diagnostic laptop and softwareSAFETY SENSITIVE: YES (Drug Test Required)To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at .
