RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide armed security and emergency response across a large corporate campus Operate a vehicle as part of a mobile patrol and area surveillance team Support local executive protection and event security operations Provide local secure transportation for executives Serve as a first responder for security incidents and medical emergencies Interact with local law enforcement officers Deliver high-level customer service to employees, executives, and visitors Identify and report safety or security concerns Perform patrols, respond to incidents, and manage access control Monitor safety and security equipment/systems (CCTV, Access Control, etc.) Work within a coordinated, well-structured protection programQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): Must be 21 years of age Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Credible military, police, corrections, public safety, or private security experience of three or more years Exceptional decision-making skills: ability to effectively operate under pressure. Discretion and integrity; trusted to handle sensitive information. Must pass a background check and drug screening (as permitted by law) Must be willing and able to obtain a valid Michigan Concealed Carry Permit (CCW) upon hire or currently possess one Must possess one or more of the following:Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Professional appearance and demeanor; physically fitPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): Degree in an area of study relevant to this position U.S. military service in a combat arms or military police/security forces capacity Certification or training in security management, firearms, executive protection, etc.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting at $32 / hour, weekly pay  Medical/dental/vision 401K Plan Paid time off Extensive training and professional development Advancement opportunities across Allied Universal's nationwide networkClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
