The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from.Compensation$26.50 hourlyResponsibilitiesComplete daily service requirements of lime and recycle plants for preventative maintenance issuesTroubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delaysMonitor, repair, and change worn partsGeneral maintenance and welding for wear prevention of equipmentOperate loader and other equipment as neededGeneral labor duties such as shoveling and sweepingEducationRequirements/QualificationsAbility to work under pressureAvailable to work overtime; extended hours and weekend work as required for timely project completionMust be flexible with work location; plants are portableWork with minimal supervisionAbility to work in all weather conditions; work majority is outside at a mobile crushing facilityAbility to lift 95 lbs. infrequently, 50 lbs. frequently, and climb stairs/ladders up to 24’Ability to use various electric and air-powered hand, welding, and cutting tools as appropriatePreferred:4+ years of experience with open-pit sand and gravel operationsWorking knowledge of aggregate production and associated equipment, and understanding of operations and safety requirements for the equipmentExperience in welding and fabricationUnderstanding of the type and quality of materials being recycled or treatedFamiliar with MSHA regulations; MSHA annual refresher training Conditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
