This position will be full-time contract and onsite in Washington, D.C.What You’ll DoAlign broader strategic vision around business needs, resulting in technology roadmapsConduct business capabilities mapping and catalog business processesCollaborate with business units and application development staff to understand both business and technical requirements and define architectural constraintsDefine and maintain architectural frameworks, patterns, processes, standards, and guidelines related to the Digital EcosystemCreate and maintain diagrams of as-is and to-be architecturesProvide technical and architectural subject matter expertise to project teams, including technology decision-making frameworksEstablish governance best practices and standards to streamline technology implementation lifecycle for both off-the-shelf and homegrown solutionsSupport the client's data governance program including developing policies, standards, roles, and responsibilitiesFacilitate technology change management programs and support enterprise technology initiativesCreate and assess performance metrics to measure architecture and governance effectivenessContinuously improve architecture and governance systems, practices, policies, and artifactsProduce complete and accurate documentation based on best practices and client standardsCollaborate with stakeholders across the authorityWhat You'll NeedRequired:Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)Seven years of professional experience working with technology systems engineering, management, or architectureTwo years of professional experience related to enterprise architecture, IT governance, or data governanceTwo years of professional experience working within large technology enterprisesTwo years of experience with a recognized enterprise architecture framework (TOGAF, FEAF, Zachman International, etc.)Two years of engineering or architecture experience with cloud services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AzureTwo years of experience with data management technologies & solutionsFamiliarity with modern software/cloud technologies including containers, data pipelines, data lakes, CI/CD, integration platforms, DevSecOps, and zero trustFamiliarity with enterprise application platforms including PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, Adobe Experience Platform, ServiceNow, Power PlatformPreferred:Proficiency in MS Office suite, MS Visio, or other technology visualization softwareStrong visual communication skills for creating technical schematics, architecture diagrams, slide decks, and data visualizationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiencesAbility to alternate focus between strategic enterprise viewpoints and tactical detailsSolid analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business requirementsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExceptional organizational skills to prioritize and execute tasks within restrictive timeframesDetail-oriented, proactive team playerPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional movement around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$92p/h - $96p/hThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
