Healthcare Nursing of Elmira is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our nursing leadership team in the Elmira, NY region.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership support to the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operationsParticipate in and help oversee weekly skin and wound assessmentsAssist with regulatory readiness and maintain strong communication among nursing staffEnsure residents’ clinical and nursing needs are consistently metParticipate in an on-call rotation to support nursing operationsHelp guide planning, coordination, and delivery of nursing servicesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing standards, practices, and clinical protocolsMonitor accuracy and timeliness of nursing documentationSupport recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of nursing personnelOversee daily staffing coordination and ensure adequate coveragePromote and monitor infection prevention and control practicesAdapt to operational needs with a flexible and responsive scheduleQualificationsActive RN license in New York StateAt least 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environmentPrior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferredBackground in staff education or training is a plusStrong communication, organizational, and team-building abilitiesAbility to work flexible hours as needed to support department needs Compensation$85,000-$110,000/year, plus our benefits package!Apply now to learn more!
