Counter Staff Ideal is looking for energetic team members who are passionate about customer service. Counter Staff manage all transactions and product service with customers quickly and accurately. These positions often take place in large venues such as stadiums, convention centers, and festivals. Successful candidates maintain a professional and friendly attitude while interacting with customers to properly manage payment transactions, issues, and requests. Position Overview Managing high-volume customer interactions in a fast-paced environment, often at large events, stadiums, or arenas. Work quickly and efficiently while ensuring that the work area is kept organized and stocked. Handle customer orders, process electronic payments, and assist with guest concerns in a high-demand setting. Responsibilities Customer Service: Provide friendly, fast, and courteous service to all customers, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive experience. Order Processing: Accurately take and fulfill customer orders, ensuring that orders are delivered as requested and in a timely manner. POS Operation: Use POS systems to process payments quickly and accurately, focusing on efficiency and electronic payment methods. Efficiency in High-Volume Settings: Manage peak traffic times with urgency while maintaining excellent customer service and a calm demeanor. Cash Handling (if applicable): Process cash payments accurately and follow cash handling protocols. Inventory Management: Keep the counter area well-stocked with necessary products and materials to ensure smooth service. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized counter area to ensure efficient workflow and a pleasant environment. Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve customer issues independently or by escalating to management. Team Collaboration: Work with other staff to ensure efficient operations during busy times and assist with additional tasks as needed. Safety Protocols: Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines (if applicable) for a safe environment. Requirements Willingness to work in large venues such as stadiums, concessions, or convention centers. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, and lifting heavy items while interacting with customers. Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills. Great communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team environment.
