Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsElectrophysiology Technician (EP Tech) We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician for a full-time opportunity. As an EP Technician on our team, you will greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. If you are a kind and qualified EP professional, please apply to join an amazing team of closely-knit caring, professionals! Typical duties may include: Assemble supplies and equipment needed for proceduresAssist in soothing and positioning patientsMaintain sterile techniquesDuring procedures, monitor the patient as you assist the physicianAfter the procedure, gather equipment for cleaning and sterilizationMay also transport patients to recovery Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology or related fieldRCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Two (2) years RCIS experience in an electrophysiology lab with understanding of all EP and ablation devicesACLS and BLS requiredProficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes and all interventional devices/procedures (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral)HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is a 237-bed acute-care hospital serving Charlotte County.
