TRC has partnered with a leading contract manufacturer specializing in the production of custom powdered products for the nutritional and dietary supplement industry. Summary/Objective:The IT Support Specialist II provides advanced help desk and system administration support, managing complex IT requests both remotely and on-site. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing workstations, servers, networks, and vendor systems while delivering responsive, customer-focused support.   Direct Hire! Onsite: Lawrenceville, GA    Key Responsibilities  Serve as the primary contact for advanced end-user support via phone, email, and chat, clearly communicating issue status and resolutionsMonitor IT and disaster recovery systems, respond to alerts, and manage service ticketsTroubleshoot and support ERP systems, Microsoft applications, virtual environments (VMware/Azure), networks, security, and remote accessImplement and support Microsoft technologies and custom system solutionsMaintain IT asset inventory, system documentation, and training materialsEnsure timely resolution of requests and escalate issues when neededCollaborate with the IT Services team for efficient issue routing and resolutionFollow ConnectWise processes, including scheduling, ticket management, project tracking, and time/expense entryComplete required ConnectWise trainingStay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices     Required Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience3+ years of IT support experienceBasic certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and LinuxUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)Experience supporting hardware, Microsoft 365, and Google WorkspaceFamiliarity with Active Directory and remote support toolsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsCustomer-focused and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT or related fieldAdvanced certifications (AWS, CISSP, VCP, CCNP, MCSE)5+ years of IT support experienceExperience with ticketing systems (ConnectWise, Jira, Zendesk)Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and multitasking skills
