At Astound, we believe in creating astounding possibilities for everyone, everywhere.A Day in the Life of theSupervisor, Broadband TechnicianA Day in the Life of the Supervisor, Broadband Technician:Support Broadband TechniciansCustomer escalations, Oversee field responsibilities, Metrics **Perform Diagnostic QC Auditing and ReportingEnsure safety practicesTrain all field personnel to diagnose and repair network issues safely and in compliance with technical standards.Other duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Table:Education: High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and satisfactory driving record per the Fleet PolicyExperience: 3+ years experience with field technician experience related to installation and troubleshooting of phone, HSD, CATV servicesCoaching and Developing EmployeesTask ManagementCustomer RelationsStrong Motivational SkillsOrganization SkillsBasic Knowledge of PlantBase Salary: The base pay in Texas for this position is $65,000 - $100,000 per hour, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
