In addition to inspections, inspectors may occasionally perform system installations and service calls.How you will do itTest and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer base.Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools providedAdhere to company safety policies and procedures while following verbal and written instructions.Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbsPerform all tasks and duties in a safe and professional manner & maintain a clean and safe work area.Fire Alarm & Security Inspector IIWhat we look forRequiredOne year of related experience installing, programming, servicing, testing, or inspecting fire alarm systemsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordNICET certification or willingness to obtain certification within eight months of hireProficiency using hand tools and multimetersPhysical capability to work in challenging environments, including ladders, scaffolding, and lift equipmentAbility to perform manual labor and safely lift up to 70 poundsBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and smartphone applicationsAvailability for flexible scheduling, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekendsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyStrong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quicklyExcellent verbal and interpersonal communication skillsWillingness to travel as requiredAbility to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testingCommitment to safety standards and proceduresPreferred2-3 years of previous similar experienceNational, State, and Local licensesHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $18.26 - $22.59 per hour. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
