Learn more at Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & DevelopmentSupervise, train, and mentor HVACR service techniciansAssign and manage technician schedules for service calls and maintenanceConduct performance reviews and lead hiring for service rolesFoster a positive team culture grounded in safety, integrity, and professionalismService Operations & DispatchOversee scheduling, field logistics, and technician dispatchCoordinate inventory, fleet readiness, vendor management, and job documentationEnsure seamless communication between office staff and field crewsMaintenance Program OversightReview scopes of work for maintenance contracts and ensure contract complianceWork with the Maintenance & Training Manager to uphold standards and performanceIdentify new service opportunities based on PM insightsClient Relations & SupportBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractorsResolve escalated service issues and support long-term client retentionParticipate in walkthroughs, meetings, and contract discussionsFinancial & Administrative OversightManage service department budgets, margins, job costing, and billing workflowsAnalyze service metrics and performance data to inform strategyCompliance & SafetyEnforce OSHA, EPA, and local compliance standardsConduct field safety audits and toolbox talksChampion a safety-first culture throughout the departmentTechnical LeadershipProvide troubleshooting guidance for complex commercial systems (RTUs, VRFs, cooling towers)Support major system startups and commissioningStay updated on HVACR innovations, controls, and industry best practices Qualifications EducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree or HVACR trade school completion preferredExperience5–10+ years in commercial HVACR service and repairMinimum 3 years in a supervisory, foreman, or assistant manager roleCertificationsRequired: EPA Section 608 UniversalPreferred: OSHA 30, NATE certification, manufacturer-specific trainingLicensesValid driver"s license with a clean driving recordCore CompetenciesDeep knowledge of commercial HVACR systems and controlsStrong leadership, communication, and team-building skillsProficiency in budgeting, job costing, and service KPIsFamiliarity with CRM/service platforms such as Jonas and XOIExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life and Disability Insurance OptionsPaid Time Off (vacation, sick days, holidays)Paid Parental LeaveRetirement Savings ProgramWeekly Pay CycleReferral Bonus ProgramEmployee Profit SharingCompany Vehicle ProvidedAnnual Company Trips and Team EventsUniforms and Safety Equipment ProvidedTech Package (Smartphone or Tablet)Tool Replacement ProgramOngoing Training, Certifications, and Mentorship Schedule Full-TimeMonday–FridayOccasional after-hours or on-call availability as required Work Location Onsite at Atlantic Mechanical Contractors – Weymouth, MALocal candidates preferred; relocation assistance may be considered for the right fit Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
