This position will be full-time, onsite, and is a salaried position.What You'll DoImprove server reliability and reduce repeat incidents through standard configurations and root cause fixesRaise patch and vulnerability remediation performance through consistent scheduling, validation, and reportingImprove recovery readiness through restore testing, clear runbooks, and predictable backup operationsReduce manual work through scripting and repeatable build processesEngineer and support Windows Server platforms across on-prem and Azure, including provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle managementOwn server patching and vulnerability remediation, including scheduling, validation, and rollback planningOwn backup operations and recovery testing, including routine restore tests and documented recovery proceduresSupport identity and core platform services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy operations in coordination with security standardsSupport virtualization and storage operations, such as VMware or equivalent, capacity checks, performance triage, and host healthSupport Azure operational needs tied to server workloads, including VM operations, images, RBAC assignments, tagging support, and monitoringBuild and maintain monitoring and alerting for server and platform healthTune noisy alerts and define clear escalation pathsWrite and maintain automation scripts for routine operations using PowerShell and one additional scripting language where practicalParticipate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours incidents per established proceduresParticipate in incident response and after-action reviews. Drive root cause analysis and remediation plans with measurable follow-throughMaintain runbooks, build standards, and documentation. Keep documentation current after approved changesWork within change control practices and coordinate planned maintenance with stakeholdersWhat You'll NeedRequired:4 or more years of hands-on experience supporting Windows Server in an enterprise environmentStrong experience with patch management and server operations, including troubleshooting performance and availability issuesStrong experience with backup and restore processes, including recovery testingStrong PowerShell skills used for automation and operational supportWorking knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy operationsExperience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalentExperience supporting server workloads in Azure, including VM operations and basic Azure administrationExperience providing Microsoft 365 administrative support, including Exchange and SharePointExperience supporting an enterprise voice and VoIP environment in a coordination role including incident triage and partner engagementStrong documentation and experience working within incident management and change control processesOffice 365 Administrative duties, including Exchange and SharePoint and Cisco Call Manager/VoIP administration dutiesPreferred:Basic Linux administration experienceExperience supporting monitoring tools and log platformsExperience working in environments aligned to NIST or HIPAA controlsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$85,000 - $95,000The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
