As a part of Sherwin-Williams’ Performance Coatings Group and Strategic Pricing team, this position will partner with the Automotive Finishes (AF) Division to develop, drive and monitor their global pricing strategy. This individual will work with Group and Division Financial, Marketing and Sales personnel around the world to establish a proactive and planful approach to drive business strategy using pricing as a lever.Additional InformationThe travel for this positions is 20%.This role is not remote/hybrid. Please be aware, Sherwin-Williams recruiting team members will never request a candidate to provide a payment, ask for financial information, or sensitive personal information like national identification numbers, date of birth, or bank account numbers during the application process.Lead the market-based pricing solution by driving competencies and strategies with Finance and Marketing partners to deliver resultsAnalyze results and present findings and opportunities to leadershipDrive adoption and adherence to the businesses market-based pricing solutionLead the integration of pricing practices for the DivisionContinue to develop and implement, both tactical and strategic pricing competenciesSupport and train field level personnel on pricing initiatives and policiesUtilize data modeling to support price increase execution and reportingMaintain working knowledge of facility/store operations and its effect on pricingIdentify opportunities to drive consistency among regions and lead system enhancement projectsPartner with the Pricing Operations team in the continual development of all pricing applications/systemsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)Must have a bachelor’s degree or higherMust have at least six (6) years of experience in analytical and/or strategic functionsMust have at least six (6) years of experience using advanced capabilities of Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualification: Have a Master’s degree or higher Have at least two (2) years of experience in leadership role(s), supervising other, or leading teams.Have experience leading large cross-functional projects concurrentlyHave experience in painting or coating industry, especially within Business Units formatHave experience with longer-term initiative planningHave experience of at least beginner level with statistical knowledgeHave experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) pricing modules (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Have prior work experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemHave experience with CPQ (Configure Price Quote) software (, etc.)Have Experience with BI (Business Intelligence) software (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, Power BI, Business Objects, etc.) Have experience with pricing optimization software (e.g. Zilliant, Pricefx, Vendavo, PROS, etc.). Have experience with rebate optimization software (e.g. Vistex, Enable, etc.) Have experience with AI (Artificial Intelligence) or ML (Machine Learning). Have experience with process or project management; preferably with certifications (e.g. PMI PMP/CAPM, GAQM APM, Agile, etc.)
