Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols. Assist with access control and verify identification for individuals entering restricted areas. Work collaboratively with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and observations during the shift. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and promote a secure environment.Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
