You’ll coordinate day-to-day activities for mechanics and subcontractors, secure new work and change orders, and act as a technical resource for Sales—all while building strong customer relationships.Manage mechanical retrofit projects using Johnson Controls’ standardized processesOversee project safety compliance and ensure adherence to local codesCoordinate mechanics and subcontractors for smooth project deliveryEstimate mechanical work and present proposals to customersSupport Sales with technical expertise and pre-bid reviewsMonitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controlsDrive improvements through change orders and process enhancementsManage material procurement, logistics, and documentationEnsure timely transition to Truck-Based Service teams and owner trainingHow you will do itPlan, execute, and control projects from start to finishUse Johnson Controls tools to track progress and communicate statusBuild strong relationships with customers and subcontractorsAttend job progress meetings and resolve issues proactivelyPromote safety and compliance across all project activitiesWhat we look forRequired:6+ years of technical and operational experience in service or retrofit projectsExperience leading mechanics on projects totaling $3–$4M in revenueStrong HVAC mechanical systems knowledgeExcellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesProficiency in project management tools and MS OfficeAbility to travel based on project needsFully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start datePreferred:2–4 years of engineering or trade school training (degree or equivalent)#TechHiringHIRING SALARY RANGE: $89k-134k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
