Job Description:GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Tactical Security Field Supervisor!Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Field Supervisor? Site Location: Portland, OregonSchedule: Full-time, Thursday & Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Days, and Saturday thru Monday, 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Swing, 40 Hours Compensation: $29.80/ HourWhat matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.As a Security Supervisor – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.What’s in it for you:A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, sick leaveUniform provided at no costResponsibilities of Tactical Security Field SupervisorHighly competent with extensive experience in visitor and crowd management, street level interaction and problem solving, and serving the public in downtown urban environment.Highly skilled in preventing and defusing potentially volatile situations, know how to handle potentially dangerous situations, and make sound use of force decisions.Able to engage safely and effectively with persons participating in criminal behavior.Able to conduct themselves as goodwill ambassadors representing the City of Portland, the SmartPark Garage system, Portland Downtown Heliport, and Streetcar Facilities providing information and assistance to downtown visitors.Skilled at writing incident reports suitable for inclusion in police reports and presentation in court proceedings. Demonstrated experience in providing testimony in criminal court, and other legal proceedings.Able to work safely and competently side by side with law enforcement officers during routine patrol, criminal investigations, and emergencies.Qualifications of Tactical Security Field SupervisorBe authorized to work in the U.S.Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GEDBe able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening processFirst aid certification is an assetAbility to stand and walk for the entire shiftSecurity, Military, or Law Enforcement experience a must!Must have a valid drivers licenseMust have a clean driving recordMust be 21, or older In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
