The ideal candidate creates a safe, structured, and engaging environment that encourages healthy habits and positive behavior while aligning with the school’s values and curriculum. You will also: Deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and age-appropriate standards Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles Ensure student safety by following all school policies and procedures during physical activities Manage class behavior using positive and consistent strategies Adapt activities to meet the needs of diverse learners and varying skill levels Communicate effectively with school administration and staff Set up, organize, and properly maintain equipment and learning spaces Follow lesson plans provided and provide feedback or notes as needed during the assignment What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred(PE experience preferred) Ability to pass state and federal background checks Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills Flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude Strong classroom and behavior management skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
