Conduct inspections, service, and repairs on emergency lights, fire extinguishers, and pre‑engineered/industrial suppression systems in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. A JCI‑branded company vehicle is provided for all route and service activities.Responsibilities• Self‑schedule and manage appointments with contracted customers.• Maintain and track inventory.• Identify deficiencies and recommend solutions based on manufacturer guidelines and state/local codes.• Perform on‑site quoting, sales, service, and repairs.• Upsell and cross‑sell products and services to support customer compliance with current fire codes.• Develop new accounts within the assigned route.• Meet or exceed performance quotas.• Prospect potential customers for suppression products and services.Requirements• High school diploma or equivalent.• Valid driver’s license.• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces, including ladder use.• Strong customer service and communication skills.• Excellent organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in fire extinguisher and kitchen hood protection services.• Knowledge of NFPA standards and handling of dangerous goods.Bilingual candidate is highly preferred: English and SpanishHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.54-$36.49. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
