One Team.Why You’ll Love Working HereCompetitive hourly pay + 3rd shift differentialWeekly pay and quarterly gainsharing401(k) with company match and profit sharingFamily-owned stability and strong safety cultureMedical, dental, and vision benefitsWhat You’ll DoAs a Tool Room Technician, you’ll set up, adjust, and operate a wide range of tool room and 3‑axis CNC equipment, including full machine setup and conversational programming, to manufacture, repair, and modify tooling used in production. You’ll support operators, troubleshoot and improve tooling and machining processes, and ensure equipment is running safely, accurately, and efficiently.Daily OperationsSet up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC equipmentProgram CNC machines, select tooling, and adjust for wear and material changesPerform fabrication, machining, and preventative maintenance on toolingVerify parts and tooling using precision measuring instrumentsSupport Production to keep machines safe, efficient, and running to specComplete complex machining setups and adapt tooling when requiredTroubleshootingIdentify and resolve tooling issuesImprovise temporary tooling when neededPartner with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to troubleshoot issuesAssist with Root Cause Analysis on recurring production problemsProject & Prototype WorkBuild, modify, and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, and attachmentsInterpret blueprints, sketches, or concepts to plan and lay out workSelect materials, document tool changes, and update component recordsPerform detailed bench work, including polishing, grinding, fitting, and aligningIdentify drawing issues and escalate appropriatelyWhat You’ll BringMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAccredited Tool Maker Apprenticeship or 4+ years diversified tool/machine experience2+ years of tool making experienceCNC operation and programming experienceAbility to read blueprints, drawings, and sketchesSkilled in using precision measuring toolsStrong math, problem solving, and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work well with othersPreferred QualificationsAccredited Tool Maker Apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on trainingAbility to independently program CNC machinesExperience documenting tooling componentsMetal stamping or cold forming tooling experienceMIG/TIG welding experiencePhysical RequirementsConstant standingFrequent reaching, fine motor use, lifting up to 10 lbsOccasional walking, balancing, lifting up to 35 lbsMinimal climbing, carrying, push/pull, below-waist work, sitting; lifting up to 50 lbsAbility to meet all physical requirements with or without accommodation#appcast250We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401(k) plan that includes employer matching and profit sharing.
