Senior Website Developer - Replatform Initiative Our client is undertaking a major replatforming initiative from Sitecore XP to Sitecore XM Cloud and is seeking a Senior Developer to play a key technical role in designing, building, and optimizing a modern, headless digital experience platform. This role will serve as a hands-on technical leader and subject matter expert, driving best practices across frontend architecture, cloud-native development, and the greenfield implementations. Position is based in Buckhead and is 3 days per week onsite. This is a full time role. --- Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale, cloud-native web solutions supporting the migration from Sitecore XP to Sitecore XM Cloud. · Serve as a technical subject matter expert across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support. · Build and integrate headless frontend experiences using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, leveraging Sitecore JSS and XM Cloud. · Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, well-integrated solutions aligned with business and platform goals. · Define and implement modern rendering strategies (SSG, SSR, ISR) to optimize performance, SEO, and Google PageSpeed scores. · Design and optimize personalization and real-time content experiences using Sitecore CDP/Personalize and Sitecore Search. · Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, including Vercel deployments, environment configuration, and performance optimization. · Ensure adherence to application architecture standards, secure coding practices, and cloud observability (monitoring, logging, and alerting). · Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the development team. · Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex production issues, serving as an escalation point and providing third-level application support (including on-call rotation). · Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and vendor solutions to support ongoing platform evolution. · Address security scan findings and ensure compliance with security and quality standards. --- Required Qualifications · Sitecore XM Cloud or similar product o 2+ years of hands-on, production experience with Sitecore XM Cloud (XM Cloud experience required; legacy XP/XM alone is not sufficient). · Frontend & Headless Development: o Strong expertise in Next.js (14/15+), React.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL. · Sitecore Headless Architecture: o Advanced knowledge of Sitecore JSS, headless CMS patterns, and modern web architecture preferred · Cloud & DevOps: o Experience with Vercel, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. · Engineering Excellence: o Strong understanding of cloud-native principles, performance optimization, and observability. · Collaboration & Problem Solving: o Ability to work independently on complex initiatives while partnering effectively across teams.
