This role supports mission-critical federal health enterprise systems and provides the opportunity to work on modern, scalable solutions in both on-prem and Azure cloud environments.Position OverviewThe selected candidate will research, design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications for our Leidos clients using Microsoft .NET technologies and Azure cloud services. This role involves full lifecycle development in an Agile environment, following secure development practices and modern DevSecOps methodologies.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applicationsDevelop .NET applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Web APIs, and Logic AppsWrite clean, defect-free code following software engineering best practices (code reuse, refactoring, CI/CD, secure coding, TDD)Support software configuration management and understand software component interfaces and dependenciesBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, DevSecOps, and the Azure platformCollaborate with customers, analysts, architects, DBAs, operations, and testers in an Agile Scrum environmentContribute proactively to software quality, continuous improvement, and cloud modernization initiativesGain and apply working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio to support intelligent and AI-enabled application capabilitiesKey Technical ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop applications using MVC, .NET Core, REST, XMLDevelop C# applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and ORM frameworksBuild Windows console applications using object-oriented principlesDevelop and maintain SQL Server, MySQL database scripts using SQL and T-SQLDesign and develop responsive web user interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQueryDesign and develop graphs and charts using Telerik UI and third-party componentsDesign and implement Web Services, WCF, and Web APIsImplement middleware and application-level security and authenticationDevelop reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRSRequired Education Experience & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline2-4 years of relevant professional experienceStrong experience with C#, MVC, .NET Core, , Entity FrameworkExperience developing RESTful and SOAP-based web servicesExperience developing .NET applications in Microsoft AzureHands-on experience with Azure Functions, Web APIs, and Logic AppsExperience building enterprise-scale applications using databases, Windows services, and web servicesStrong understanding of object-oriented design and C# console application developmentFront-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAXExperience with Telerik UI or similar third-party UI frameworksStrong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and functionsExperience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRSProficiency with Git and modern source control practicesFamiliarity with Azure DevSecOps and cloud security best practicesWorking knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio, or willingness to learnAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in federal or healthcare environmentsMicrosoft Certified: DevOps Engineer ExpertAzure certifications are a plusIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
