The Sherwin-Williams PCG (Performance Coatings Group) Pricing Internship Program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in pricing strategy, analytics, & operations.The 12-week program features a focused experience in pricing with cross-functional exposure to other functions (Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, & Data Science) to develop the foundation for what it takes to become a successful leader in our organization.You will gain meaningful exposure to the processes and technology that drive financial results for the business, all while developing the skills necessary for a successful career. You will also have the opportunity to visit locations (Stores, Branches, Facilities) to gain an understanding of the different Business Units (Protective & Marine, General Industrial, Industrial Wood, Automotive Finishes).This internship program is scheduled to take place during summer of 2026. The individual selected for this role will primarily work at the Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters. All hires must go through a background check before the start of employment.Additional InformationThe travel for this position is 10%.This role is not remote/hybrid. Please be aware, Sherwin-Williams recruiting team members will never request a candidate to provide a payment, ask for financial information, or sensitive personal information like national identification numbers, date of birth, or bank account numbers during the application process.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesThe intern will work alongside the pricing team members and help design strategic price recommendation models for customer quotes and help build analytical price reporting dashboards within Business Intelligence software.Leadership DevelopmentYou will complete a project to contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes, allowing you to see the significant role our employees play in Sherwin-Williams' success.Professional NetworkingPartner with cross-functional Business Unit leaders across Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT, & Data Science.Minimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)Enrolled in a Master’s level program with analytical focusMust be proficient in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week for a total of 12 weeksPreferred Qualification: Have a Master’s degree or higherHave a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or businessHave advanced Microsoft Office/365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Have Data understanding, modeling, and analysis experience Have experience with BI (Business Intelligence) software (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, Power BI, Business Objects, etc.)Have working knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, or similar.)Have experience with AI (Artificial Intelligence) or ML (Machine Learning)Have beginner level of statistical knowledge and experience with statistical software (SAS, JMP, SPSS, Minitab, etc.)Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.Have previous Sherwin-Williams internship or co-op experience
