Position Summary/ Department Summary:Nurse Practitioner, Pain Treatment Service- Per DiemKey Responsibilities:Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team to provide care to children, adolescents and adults chronic pain conditions.Accountability for care of patients with chronic pain conditions including Injections, follow up appoints and phone triage. Working 10-hour days Monday through Fridays including 4 shifts per monthMinimum QualificationsEducation:A master’s degree in nursingExperience:3-5 years’ experience in a pediatric setting, ideally with a pediatric intensive care backgroundExcellent critical thinking skillsMeticulous attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills, and superb collaborative skillsLicensure/ Certifications:A current MA NP license: Pediatric or Family Nurse PractitionerBLS and PALS certificationappBCHThe posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
